Team ABS performs an EhP upgrade for an international company

For an international company (with several SAP country versions), ABS, in cooperation with a well-rehearsed customer team, realized an upgrade from EhP0 to EhP8 in three months.

 

The main reasons for the EhP upgrade were:

  • Change to NetWeaver ABAP 7.50
  • Legal requirements (SII-Spain)
  • Use of the NetWeaver Gateway component (JSON)
  • Create a technical basis to enable a switch to ERP on HANA.

 

Despite adjustments to the SAP standard, use of mobile applications, as well as various installed add-ons (PBS, AEB, AFI, etc.) the change went live worldwide without problems.
